Cook position is responsible for cooking racks of meat to proper temperatures and documenting required HACCP information.  assisting the Cook and the Head Cook in the cook room.  Primary duty is to move racks of meat in and out of the ovens and cook room.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Knowledge of different types of meat and cook times.
  • Responsible for cooking racks of meat to specs.
  • Operate a powered industrial truck to load and unload racks of meat.
  • Check temperatures of meat and document temperatures and other data as required.
  • HACCP certified.
  • Monitor ovens.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Job Requirements

  • No experience is necessary.
  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Must practice good personal hygiene.
  • Must be able to work at line speed with the ability to make coordinated hand and finger movements.
  • Must be able to become powered industrial truck certified.
  • Must be able to work in an environment that varies in temperature.
  • Must be able to work extended hours and weekends if needed.
  • Must be able to work extended hours if needed.
