We are currently hiring for a Marketing Specialist for our Marketing Team located in our Corporate offices in  West Liberty, Iowa.

Job Summary:

Marketing Specialist is responsible for designing, creating and delivering marketing programs to support expansion and growth of the company services and products. The Marketing Specialist helps to manage all new products through Commercialization, oversees, proofs and approves graphics, labels, and packaging. Communicates directly among Quality Assurance, the customer, the designers, the suppliers, and the printers. The Marketing Specialist also develops and completes all graphic design needs, such as brochures, flyers, posters, advertisements (print and web), booklets, business cards, and signage, and all website maintenance, layout design, and updates. Photography, videography, and editing of both photos and videos are also tasked. The Marketing Specialist is also manages Tradeshow participation, including entry paperwork, booth layout and design, and various other aspects of tradeshow setup and completion. Other Marketing activities include advertising campaigns and research pertinent to new product and flavor trends. The Marketing Specialist holds trademarks and registration information and files, re-files, and submits specimens for current or future trademark registrations. Lastly, the Marketing Specialist is responsible for submitting and approving all invoices for the aforementioned items.

Primary Responsibilties

  • Develop, design, and manage layout of all marketing collateral and product packaging.  This includes brochures, booklets, posters, flyers, banners/signage, logos, business cards and new product labeling.
  • Support sales team through market research, determining trends and new product launch strategies and product positioning.
  • Facilitate to various sources (print and web) and consult with the companies on requirements for particular projects. Also work with printer source and approve materials for print, color, and overall look of finished product.
  • Manage tradeshow event entry, booth setup, materials gathering, submitting paperwork/fees.
  • Assist other departments with graphic design special projects such as newsletter designs, booklet and brochure development, employment brochures, t-shirt and award designs.
  • Drive continual improvement in quality, productivity, efficiency and cost.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations.
  • Partner with all departments of the organization.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Job Requirements

  • Associates Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience is preferred.
  • Computer experience - Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat, Premier), Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) and/or Google (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides).
  • Strong attention to detail and ethics.
  • Computer experience - Microsoft Office or Google Suite.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to lead, motivate and develop others.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment of continuous change and challenges.
  • Must be able to work extended hours and weekends according to schedule.
  • Candidates must successfully pass post-offer/pre-employment drug test and background screen.
