We are currently hiring for a Transition Coach for our West Liberty, Iowa facility.

Job Summary: 

The position of the Transition Coach is to assist in the onboarding, transition and development of newly hired production Team Members by acting as a liaison between our Operations Team, support departments and the Team Member. This position will monitor the progress of our newly hired Team Members, helping them assimilate when necessary and to provide assistance in training, onboarding, and the overall execution of their daily assigned tasks. This position will also assist in the development and implementation of On the Job training process and procedures.  This position may also be utilized as a translator for the hiring, new hire orientation and onboarding processes as necessary.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Assists HR/Recruiting/LD Team in the development, implementation and support of training programs as necessary.
  • Suggests appropriate training methods to use per person.
  • Translate for Team Members with Production Supervisors, Team Leads, Recruiting, Learning Development Team, and Human Resources.
  • Assisting with new employee hiring processes.
  • Monitor training procedures for associates in their introductory period.
  • Continually evaluates training progress of newly hired Team Members and assists in the comprehension of production processes as needed.
  • Drive continual improvement in quality, productivity, efficiency and cost.
  • Participate in meetings as needed.
  • Serves as mentor for newly hired team members.
  • Partner with all departments of the organization.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Job Requirements

  • Multilingual skill set is necessary.  English, French and Spanish priority.
  • 1  to 2 years of manufacturing experience is beneficial.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • High level of effective interpersonal skills.
  • Punctual and Dependable.
  • Understanding of Company's learning and development program.
  • Understanding of Company's values and mission/vision statements.
  • High level of communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Translate as needed (French and/or Spanish to/from English preferred).
  • Ability to work effectively in ambiguous situations in a collaborative/inclusive fashion.
  • Strong decision-making and problem solving skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to lead, motivate and develop others.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment of continuous change and challenges.
  • Must be able to work extended hours and weekends according to schedule.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate others.
  • Ability to adjust quickly to changing demands.
  • Basic computer skills including Google Suite.
  • Candidates must successfully pass post-offer/pre-employment drug test and background screen.
  • Food Safety Certification through Iowa State University-required (WLF paid).
